In the subject Language throw Literature with our teacher Vicky Gregov; we read a story  called "The Day the Mountain Blew Apart" on a book called "Arriving before I start" the story is about a volcano that erupted and the consequences that it caused. We read in class and all together each one had to read one part. After reading the story we had to answer some questions and we had to complete a chart. We did it in pairs or in groups of three. I worked in a group of 2 with Matias.

The story in an "Historical Narrative" because if an event that happened.  "Historical Narrative" is a historical event. The people and the places are true, but it is written as a story. Biographies are usually historical narratives.. In the first part of the questionare we had to answer if we had to think and write of possible stories of this kinds "Historical Narrative" that we know. Like: Titanic film, Saving private Ryan film, Costa Concordia documentary this are  "Historical Narrative".

Here is a summary of the Story "The Day the Mountain Blew Apart":

Picture that shows some information about the eruption

Here are some pictures that shows how has the volcano after and before it erupted:

For me it is a good story because it makes you reflect on the things that could have caused the rash and thankfully did not cause anything. Also because it helps you think about the environment because it was destroyed by the volcano when it erupted near forest was made that many species of fauna and flora that was there dying and this will take many years to return to as dolmens. It also makes you wonder if these near of a volcano that is in danger of being able to reach erupt as react. And for me it was very good idea who had the writer: Chris Copeland in history have included testimonials from people who lived through the eruption and came to save.
